Design Concept


The layout of Spacetime Pyramid is a combination of mystical pyramid structure and energy of the universe with colourful Tibetan mani stones decorating the exterior, it will also house the Museum of Tibetan Stone Carving Culture, Thangka (Tibetan Buddhist painting) Museum and a Health Care & Meditation Centre. The pyramid will be home to the world’s largest Tibetan Buddhism Shambhala Mandala.


The project is blessed by the honourable His Holiness DrikungKyabgönChungtsang, the 36th throne holder of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage


His Holiness even accolade Spacetime Pyramid is a great cause! The entire project is 495 acres large, it will also house conference centre, convention centre, retail, tourist welcome centre, business hotel, Tibetan style villas, health and recreation centre, medicinal plantation and many more. Upon completion, it will be the iconic landmark of Shangri-La City and a world class Buddhist Culture Sanctuary that will draw large numbers of visitors annually.



Shambhala Mandala

At 11-metre high and 23-metre long, the world’s largest Shambhala Mandala will be built in becoming a Buddhist sanctuary that has more than 1,300 faces of Bodhisattva.


* The mandala is a palace of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The mandala originates from the Tantric Buddhism of Tantric Buddhism. An object that must be enshrined during spiritual practice.
